Art & Science across Italy is a CREATIONS (Horizon2020) European project organized by INFN, CERN and CMS in Geneva; It is addressed to high school third and fourth class students of Milan, Venetia, Padua, Florence and Naples.
The goal is attract high school students’ interest to the world of Science, Research and the world of Sub-Nuclear Physics in particular, through the creation of artistic works that will be presented during the exhibition called “The Higgs boson's colors”.

The exhibition will host the art@CMS collection too and it will be itinerant across Italy; therefore all students will be able to expose their artworks in their towns; the best artworks will go to Napoli for final exhibition.

In Venice we can see the works of Venetian students and also some creations of Paduan students, these last out of competition. A committee, composed by scientific researchers and art experts, will reward the best artwork during a special ceremony.

An important collaboration for Venice session is provided by AMVA4NewPhysics project: a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) financed by the H2020 program of the European Commission.
With its more than 50 participants working at universities, research institutes and companies in 11 different countries, AMVA4NewPhysics aims at developing advanced tools for statistical analyses, both in the field of High Energy Particle Physics as well as for industrial applications.

Exhibition dates: from july 5th to july 12yh
