Venice is served by one big airport, the Marco Polo International Airport and a smaller one, the Antonio Canova airport, located in the near town of Treviso.

There are several services that run from the Marco Polo International Airport to Venice and Lido.
Upon arrival, exit the airport baggage claim area.
At your left you can find a public transport tickets office for all kinds of transportation.
Should you find a long line at the ticket office, you can use the automatic tickets distributors, spread out around the arrival area of the airport
Service Alilaguna (RECOMMENDED)
Water transport to Lido S.M.E and Venice. (Blue or Red Line to Lido S.M.E and Venice and Orange line to Venice).
- Travelling time: ~1h 10mn
- Frequency Line: 30 minutes
- Ticket: ~ € 15,00
From arrival level, go up to departure level and follow the indication "water transport".
You can find a ticket office also at the dock.
Find the appropriate departure dock for your waterbus according to your choices and embark yourself.
Once reached Lido, the Conference venue (palazzo del Cinema and Palazzo del Casinò) can be reached:
- by walk: about 15-20 minutes;
- by bus Line V (every 20 mn) for a 10mn journey. Ticket ~€ 1,50 can be purchased at the ACTV ticket office in Lido S.M.E.
Please be informed that on July 5th afternoon (approximately from 3 to 7 p.m.)the LOC will provide also dedicated buses, from the Lido S.M.E. to the Conference venue, stopping nearby crucial hotel areas.

- Tickets: ~€ 6,00 (for the ATVO shuttle) + € 7,50 for the water bus
We suggest you to pay attention to the line number as well as the letter of the landing stage (dock) from which you will take your waterbus. Be aware that there are different docks and you should enter the right one, according to the line that you will choose (

Boat can accept up to 7 people according to number and size of luggage. Taxi can be booked at the stands in the arrivals lounge. You can get off directly at venue (Darsena del Casinò).
Treviso Airport
Treviso Airport is about 25 km from Venice. In order to reach Lido, one must reach Piazzale Roma first and, from there, take further connections to Lido.
ATVO or flights companies ensure the transport to Piazzale Roma.
Once you get to the airport baggage claim area, you find the ATVO automatic ticket machine. There is also an ATVO ticket office in the arrival area (open from 7:30 to 22:30).

From the Santa Lucia railway station, take further connections to the conference venue, at Lido, using public waterbus.
Once you get out of the station, ACTV waterbus landing stages are just few feet away.

- automatic ticket machine at the landing stages (check list);
- Venezia Unica ticket offices at the Ferrovia ‘S.Lucia’ and ‘Scalzi’ landing stages (check list);
- Temporary Info Point outside the main entrance to the railway station– during certain periods of the year.
If you are accommodated in Venice,
it is not recommended to reach the city by car.
On the other hand, Lido has a car access through Ferry boat (Line 17) from Tronchetto (
timetable ).
Once at the Lido, the Conference venue (Palazzo del Cinema and Palazzo del Casinò) and most of the hotels can be reached by car.
